S1 Team
This season our S1 team are sponsored by B&D Roofing and Dalkeith Roofing Services Ltd and we would like to thank them both for their continued support.
We play matches against other S1 teams from the Edinburgh, Fife and Lothians on Sundays.We train in Kingspark on Sunday mornings at 11am and Wednesdays evenings at 6:30pm.
Our training is designed to develop rugby skills, the physical fitness of the squad, teamwork and is suitable for all levels of player. We welcome new playing members, and if you are interested in coming along and giving rugby a try, please get in touch using the contact us form on this website or come along to one of our training sessions and speak with one of our S1 coaches (see the S1 fixture list)
Training starts back on Sunday the 18th of July but we are playing touch rugby in kings park at the normal training times throughout the summer to keep fit if any new players want to come along and have a go.
First XV
Club Captain - Michael Davidson
This season has got off to a great start, with the new coaches being involved and have regularly had more than 30 players at training. The pre-season games and training have been positive and we can hopefully carry that on into the up and coming season.

Second XV
2nd XV Team Manager - Tom Oliver
Dalkeith 2nd XV start the season in the East of Scotland division 3 seconds league with Mark (Stooge) Lockhart taking up the captaincy for a second year. The league is made up of teams from lower divisions as well as Premiership 3rd and 4th with some old adversaries such as Ross High and PL 3rd’s and Penicuik 2nd’s and some new ones in Murrayfield Wanders 3rd’s and Currie 3rd’s.

Mini rugby is a game for any child (boy or girl) from Primary 1 upwards who is prepared to run, tackle and generally get completely covered in mud.
